Qualified participants enrolled in our Rapid Re-Housing program can be placed in designated short-term, transitional, low-cost apartments. The goal of this program is to be moved into permanent housing with the skills to sustain the living arrangement independently.
Erie DAWN both owns property specifically for Rapid Re-Housing and partners with local landlords to provide housing for this program.

Do I qualify for Rapid Re-Housing?
It is always best to call our office at 814-453-5921 and speak to a case manager to find out if you are eligible, but generally participants are eligible if they are:
A woman, 18 years of age or older
Homeless or soon-to-be homeless
Have earned income of at least $1300 or more a month
Eligible to have utilities in your name
Goal-motivated
Willing to follow a monthly budget plan
